Bollocks!
Nolan was good by any standards last night. Now it's up to him to keep it up until the end of the season. I hope so, then he can leave, or drop permanently to the bench/coaching staff with pride back intact.. Hope he nags his 100th goal soon as well.

Nolan was very good last night, breaking up chelsea attacks and was pretty much at the start of most of our attacks, got forward a bit too.
Not a big fan of him as a footballer but that was one of the best performances I've seen from him. Seemed to be playing deeper than usual.

Hmm, he played well compared to his own recent dire performances, but he is so limited as a midfielder, even at his best, he's only an average performer in this division.
That's what I was meaning, Russ.

Nolan was average?
Come on. I think even the biggest Nolan hater would have to concede he was good last night.
Even my Chelsea mate on the way home said how well he thought Nolan played.

a team that can rise to the occasion to play it's top two London rivals clearly has the ability to compete for a top 6 finish But being unable to turn up to play either West Brom or Palace either lacks motivation or the tactics were wrong
Either way, the poor run of form of late must be the responsibility of the manager and, given the near disastrous relation last season, I fail to see how the Allardyce apologists continue to back this man to take West Ham forward

We were superb last night and it makes me even more disappointed with our recent run of results. We are a cracking side when on the front foot getting tackles in high up the pitch but the moment we take the lead the fat cunt puts the hand brake on.
If we had a more positive manager we could be at least where Southampton are.

Ok, you somehow think the ref got all those dodgy calls spot on, but what do you think of the one big decision that decided the game, where the lino didn't call for offside when he was a yard offside?"
Well, if he was a yard offside then I guess the linesman got it wrong. I didn't see the replays as I walked out of the room as soon as the ball went in the net. If it were only your word (and the rest of the screaming drama queens) then I would remain in the dark on that one, but I note that Crassus agrees with you so I'm prepared to take that as a fact.

I thought we wasted some good opportunities to equalise and I think Chelsea will know they've been in a game.
Biggest negative other than not scoring is Adrian's kicking. He doesn't look to place it and just launches it and hopes for the best.

That was a lesson in how to hold onto a one goal lead. I kinda prefered the way we upset the gay boys with 19th century football. Last night was old school West Ham losing play and many are praising it. Dont get me wrong. It was entertaining but if we'd scored they'd come right back at us. I thought they were pretty much in control most of the game.

Is saying Willian looks like a Golliwog racist?
Last night I shouted to him to get back on his marmelade jar (I'd had a drink) most laughed but a bloke in front winced and said careful mate, you'll get kicked out for that.
Now he is probably right, if certain people heard it I might get tugged but surely it isn't racist. If he didn't have hair like that I wouldn't have said it.

Collns and Kouyate stood out for me, although the whole team played well, even Nolan was average.
I can't help wondering what's happened to Song. He was outstanding at first?

As I said pre match Mourinho's team selection was a compliment to us as he knew he needed his best available team. With more than a little help by the officials they got out of jail with one of those 1-0 wins that will win the the league. From what I saw last night hopefully someone (ANYONE) will stop them in the Champions league.

I hand nothing to Chelsea. They have a massive squad. They got the result the majority of people were expecting.
